Life transitions, trauma, and the complexity of relationships can often leaving us feeling hopeless, stuck, or alone. As a marriage and family therapist, my main goal in therapy is to help you feel safe and empowered in relating to yourself more compassionately and addressing relationship issues which can seem impossible. I believe that we all have greater ability to succeed when we feel seen and supported, and that healing happens in connection with others. My goal is to facilitate a compassionate space, but ultimately help individuals, couples, and families feel more safety and support with each other or within themselves. Using a strong background in couple and family therapy models and an emphasis on trauma, I help couples and families find healing through increased awareness, emotional connection, and better communication. I also enjoy helping individuals increase their emotion regulation, overcome negative thoughts, and find strategies for healing past emotional hurts.
