Starting a fitness plan can be daunting; not knowing how to approach it, not knowing whats right for you, and deciphering all the information out there. In this 4 week (one session a week) course, you'll learn how to approach fitness safely and effectively along with gaining knowledge that will help you throughout your entire fitness journey.

4 Week Course Topics:. Components of Fitness. Understanding limitations: self evaluation and knowing what form of working out is best for you safety and progress. Core education: understanding what is true core training, learning proper core activation, anatomy of the core and how it affects movement and posture. Stages of Safe Strength Building : the 3 building components of setting the stage for functional strength development. Hydration and nutrition: the role it plays in performance, recovery, and weight loss. Running/Jogging: proper form and what you should know before hitting the pavement. Progressive Training: introduction to building a progressive workout program. Proper use and diversity of equipment: Form and technique.
