The 14th Annual FolkLife Days will be celebrated at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15, 2014 starting at 9:30 am until 2:00 pm CDT. The Settlement will have all the cabins open and staffed with volunteers dressed in period clothing demonstrating the skills that our American pioneers had to have for daily survival. Our famous Ms. Frances Price will be making and cooking her luscious biscuits. There will be demonstrations of: how cracklin's are made; bread-making carving bowls; butter churning; soap-making; quilting, and much more. Our volunteers will give everyone a day they'll remember. Please call Diane Watson at (850) 674-2777, or email us at ppsmuseum@yahoo.com for more information or to register your students for Friday's event.
