This event will showcase many vendors craftsmanship in the art of knife-making. Southern knife makers will be at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement to show and sell one of a kind knifes. If you enjoy handmade knives, this is the place to be. If you do not see a knife that you want then talk with the knife makers and order your own custom made knife. There will also be a demonstration by John Butler on making knives at the Settlement's Blacksmith Shop at 9:00 am CDT.

This is a Valentines Day inspired event so bring your sweetheart and enjoy a wonderful dinner of Boston Butt, 2 sides, roll, tea and dessert. Sacred Harp Sing. February 20, 2016 starting at 10 am central time. Sacred Harp Singing (also called fa so la or shape note singing) dates back to colonial times and has been preserved in the rural south. The singing is not accompanied by harp or other instruments, but is an old style of singing acappella from shape notes. It is a non-denominational community musical event that emphasizes on participation. All are encouraged to bring a covered dish. Our general store will be open from 10-2 pm with tours available.. Admission is free (donations are appreciated).
